In the framework library, you now have the ability to import a master page template by entering the URL of any external page! This powerful feature enables you to easily import an existing page into LiveBall.
We recommend that the page you import is added to a dedicated framework for imported pages. When you import a page, it becomes a stand alone master — without hooks to themes or centralized framework files like CSS.
Under the 'Libraries' menu and the 'Frameworks' sub-menu item, there is a new "import page" option available when you click into a framework. You'll input the URL of the page you wish to add, confirm the assets that will be included in the upload and the page will momentarily be available in your console. The import will include page assets like images, scripts and CSS. Note that Javascript files will be included, but not parsed. So, if you have assets referenced relatively within your Javascript, you will need to manually handle those relationships.
When your import is complete, your new LiveBall master page will not yet be dynamic. But if developers wish to update the code they can absolutely do so to quickly transform an existing page into a LiveBall dynamic template. Dynamize images, text and forms using the same processes you do on other LiveBall master pages.
Please note, existing themes will not automatically be available for use on imported templates.
