Do you want LiveBall to display something different depending on the keyword term searched by a respondent? No problem!

Before We Begin

The first step is to create a data field for keyword.

Let’s Get Started!

You can substitute entire blocks of copy, images or forms based on a keyword. To accomplish this, follow the steps below:

  • Click over the element you would like to substitute and make a note of the label at the top of the window (i.e. Headline 1, Image 1, etc.).
  • Click on the orange rules button in the page editor.
  • To substitute a block of copy, add a new rule:
    • Condition: Respondent data kw = xyz
    • Action: Substitute content element - Headline_1 - Targeted Headline
  • To substitute an image, add a new rule:
    • Condition: Respondent data kw = xyz
    • Action: Substitute content element - Image_1 - Image Location

Please note, you must replace spaces with underscores in the element’s label.  To grab an image’s location, right click over the image you’d like to use in the LivBall image library and copy it’s location.

To Test:

  • Navigate to the creative management screen and click the blue preview button in the top right corner.
  • Use the query string field to simulate your parameter
    • For example, kw = xyz
  • View creative

Should you have questions about this process, please feel free to contact your account manager.

To plug keywords directly into content, place @@kw directly into copy where you want the keyword to display. Note, "kw" is just an example. You'll need to use your LiveBall data name.
