Your LiveBall forms can integrate with GoToWebinar. Maximize your webinar attendance by using LiveBall forms for registration. Below, please find  instructions below for each LiveBall element involved in this setup.

Before We Begin

  • This set of instructions is an advanced concept for LiveBall users who are familiar with creating forms and exports. Please read “Create a form” and “How do I set up an http form post or GET export” first if you are not already familiar with LiveBall forms.
  • Please make sure that you already have your GoToWebinars set up

Data Fields

To begin, we will need to create a few GoToWebinar specific data fields in LiveBall. Below, please find each data field with all relevant information included.

*Please note that you will want to create a choice set for time zones. Attached to this support post, please find a .csv file which can be imported into LiveBall as a choice set which includes all time zones.

Form

Now that we have the above data fields created, you can create your GoToWebinar registration form within the global forms library. You may structure your form to your liking, but make sure to include at least the below data fields:

  • GoToWebinar Key - This data field should be used to ask respondents which demo they would like to attend by presenting them with a choice set as described in the previous section.
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Country
  • Webinar Time Zone
  • Webinar Question - This data field can be used to collect any specific questions you wish to ask your registrants.

Once your form has been built in the global forms library, you can pull it into your registration page and mark respondents who fill out the form as converted.

Export Format

Navigate to your LiveBall data exports page and create a new export format which posts to an external web form. Below, please find the data fields that should be pulled into your export format and all relevant information.

*Please note, if you have several webinars that you would like respondents to choose from, you may create a choice set which saves the webinar key as the choice value of each choice instead of using a default value. When a respondent selects his/her desired webinar, LiveBall will export the GoToWebinar key as defined within the choice set.

Export

Once the export format has been created, you are now ready to create the export! To do so, follow the instructions below.

  1. Click the green “+export” button
  2. Label your export as desired
  3. Select the scope of “Converted respondents”
  4. Select the export format created in the previous section
  5. Use the below form URL:

https://www2.gotomeeting.com/en_US/island/webinar/registration.flow

6. Include your email address for the “peek” email if desired

7. Click save

8. Navigate to the page editor with your GoToWebinar registration form

9. Click the form to open the form editor and click the green “+advanced rules” button

10. Add an export rule with no conditions required and an action to immediately export your GoToWebinar export

11. Click save

Now you have a form that is set up to collect GoToWebinar registrants! For additionally set up support, please feel free to contact your account manager.
