Integration: Mongoose Metrics Call Tracking

LiveBall integrates with Mongoose Metrics, a leader in enterprise phone conversion tracking. LiveBall can track a phone call as a conversion or assign a tag to it.

Before You Begin, You Will Need:

The integration is accomplished via javascript provided by Mongoose Metrics.

1. Javascript must be requested from Moongoose prior to beginning the integration process

2. It is also necessary to configure a custom notification in Mongoose Metrics to have it notify LiveBall. This callback will look something like this: http://yourconsole.postclickmarketing.com/Outside/Callback.ashx?lb3...#

Let's Get Started!

Here are the steps involved:

  • Paste javascript provided by Mongoose Metrics under the global Libraries menu and Script menu item
  • Plug @@lb3id into script where the dynamic LiveBall value needs to be inserted
  • Navigate into your LiveBall page and click on the "script" button in the page editor bar
  • Add script to the </body> editor by selecting it from the global script drop down menus
  • Add a "default" number to the content of your LiveBall page

When a respondent visits your page, the script will trigger a dynamic phone number that will replace the "default". When a respondent calls this phone number, a conversion (or tag) will be tracked back to LiveBall. The conversion will populate LiveBall performance gauges and reporting.

LiveBall users that track both lead generation and phone conversions should tag their form submissions, in addition to tracking them as conversions. Utilizing a tag will help differentiate the two types of conversions tracked in reporting.
