In this section get introduced to:
LiveBall's specialized reports are designed to help you quickly see how much traffic your campaigns and pages are receiving, your bounce rates, conversion rates and much more. You can view reports online in your LiveBall console, have reports sent to you via email, or integrate your analytics into your LiveBall pages for third-party reporting.
In LiveBall reports, you can view things from a summary level (for example: total results across an entire portfolio of campaigns). Or, drill down to a granular level (for example: results on an individual page in a creative, or an individual source of traffic).
When you login to your LiveBall console, you will see your dashboard. The dashboard includes quick links to the three portfolios, campaigns and creatives you have most recently been working on.
Just below the recent items are three summary gauges that show how much data you are storing, your total overall conversion rate, and your traffic/conversion trend for the past 30 days.
The capacity gauge shows how much visitor data you are storing (the 'maximum' number shown under capacity is set by your LiveBall subscription tier). This stored data is the respondent (visitor) data that makes up your real time reports.
TIP—easily add more respondent storage: You can always increase your storage capacity if you would like to store more visitor data. Just contact your account manager to learn more about storage options.
TIP—delete your respondent data to free up storage: You can delete your respondent data under the main navigation. Go to Settings>Manage Capacity. When you delete data, the data is removed from your reports as well. It's a good idea to pull an Excel file, or PDF file of your favorite reports before you delete data.
The respondent funnel shows how much total traffic your console has received (all time).
Traffic 30 days shows your traffic for the past 30 days, and conversion rate past 30 days.
When you are on any "Management" tab, there is always a snapshot of respondents (unique visitors), bounce rate and conversion rate for the past 30 days. You can sort this data (ascending and descending) by visitors, bounce and conversion rate by clicking the column headers.
In LiveBall, real-time (or in a few cases, near real-time) data is always available on your "performance" tabs. You can navigate to performance tabs from Portfolios, Campaigns, Creatives and Traffic Sources.
Each performance tab has three configurable gauges. In each gauge use the left drop down to select the data you want to see (remember to hit the blue refresh button next to the drop down!). And use the time drop down to select your time period. The blue arrow next to the time drop down allows you to change from date input to pre-defined time periods.
Example of available gauges:
TIP—tag clouds are cool!: if you use tags when publishing your pages, this gauge shows aggregate data on what visitors are clicking on. Roll over each tag to see respondents and conversion rate for each tag.
TIP—track parameters: If you pass in any parameters on your LiveBall URLs (for example, keyword), you can have LiveBall automatically make a tag cloud of the parameters for powerful visibility & reporting. Just add your parameter name to the portfolio, then select a tracking parameter gauge from the performance tab.
There are many gauges across your entire console to explore. Check them out by clicking the performance tab in your portfolios, campaigns, creatives and traffic sources to get instant, real-time visibility into what's working on your pages, what's not, and how to improve your results.
LiveBall will send you PDFs of key performance gauges to you via email. And it can also send pre-formatted Excel files of key data.
In the main navigation of your LiveBall console, click on Reports.
+ Report to configure the data you want, who you want it emailed to and at what frequency. You can configure as many email reports as you wish.
From this screen you can also pull the PDF or Exvel report instantly, instead of having it sent to you.
TIP—set up 'exports' of customized data: If you have a specific data you want to receive on a regular basis you can configure an export of just the data you want, and define the intervals to have it sent to you. Data exports can be emailed or FTP'd. Learn more by exploring the "Forms, Exports and Data fields" support content.
You can also integrate your own web analytics code on to your LiveBall pages. Visit the LiveBall support site for instructions on setting up integrations with popular web analytics like Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst and more.
