A "creative" is a collection of pages that are linked together. Once you have a little experience making them, you will be able to do so quickly. In the beginning, give yourself some time to play around and practice. You can’t mess anything up, and the best way to learn is to get in there and try it!

Adding LiveBall Creative

To get started, select '+ creative' from your campaign screen. On the 'add creative' screen:

  1. Name your creative (in the 'label' field—you can always change it later). If you are testing creatives against each other, it can be a good idea to have a standard naming convention that includes A, B, C, etc for your different creative versions in the test.
  2. Enter an optional description—this is helpful later when you want a reminder of how this creative is different from another creative, especially if you are testing different creatives; you can also use it for notes about the creative such as launch date, etc.
  3. Select the framework you want to use—a framework is a collection of page styles you can use for your creative (there is at least one framework in your LivalBall console).
  4. If you have a third-party code you want placed on every page in this creative, paste it in the 'creative-wide script' field. Huh? You’ll know what it is if you need it.
  5. Hit the save button.

NOTE: You can create a new creative from scratch or start by copying in an existing creative in this campaign (if there are any). A key decision when creating a new creative is determining which framework you're going to use for the pages in this creative: once you choose a framework, you will not be able to switch it later.

Now that your creative is set up, you are ready to add pages!
