Add/edit campaign

On an individual portfolio screen, just click the green ‘+ campaign’ button at the top of the campaigns list to add a new campaign. Or click on the magnifying glass at the left of an existing campaign to edit it.

Then follow these simple steps:

  1. Select the portfolio for this campaign from the drop-down menu.
  2. Name the campaign.
  3. Enter the fallback URL—this is where users will be directed if your campaign ever closes, usually your company’s home page.
  4. Add a description about the campaign (optional)—this is helpful for other LiveBall content managers using your console, or just to remind yourself about various campaign notes, such as launch date, etc.
  5. Add campaign-wide script (optional)—if you have a third-party code you want placed on every page in your campaign, paste it in this field. If you’re not sure what this is, you probably don’t need it. Trust us. Or just ask your Account Manager at ion.
  6. Don’t forget to click ‘Save’—you can always edit later.

Deleting a LiveBall Campaign

You can delete a campaign by clicking on the trash can at the right in the campaigns list. To guard against accidental deletions, though, LiveBall won’t let you delete a campaign if there are open traffic sources and/or engaged paths in the campaign; you cannot delete it until all traffic sources are deleted or closed and all paths are deleted or no longer engaged.
