LiveBall makes it easy to get your respondent data — so easy that if you market B2B and are generating leads, your sales team can follow up almost instantaneously.

To access your data, you can either set up an export and define the format of the data you would like to receive and have it sent to you, or simply wait for respondents to convert, and pull a standard file manually, whenever you would like.

Here's how to set up an export:

  1. In integration, click on data exports. Press the green "+ Export Format" button. This is where you will tell LiveBall what data fields you would like in your data export.
  2. Name your export, and choose an export format. Delimited file is the standard choice.
  3. Now choose the data fields you would like in your export. You can add CoreFields (data that is automatically defined in LiveBall, such as GeoDomain & IP Address), and also DataFields. DataField data are the values that you defined when you set up your forms, such as Name, Organization, Phone number, Industry etc.
  4. Keep adding all the data fields or core fields that you would like to be included in the export.
  5. After you're done adding your data fields and your export format is set, you can create an actual export. Simply press the green "+ Export" button below "Export Format". Choose whether you would like to include all respondents, or just conversions. All respondents will show you the CoreFields of people who didn't convert, such as Geo Domain. This is a great way to monitor click fraud.
  6. Choose what format you would like your data saved as. "CSV" is standard. You can choose all the default choices LiveBall has set and press save, unless you would like to export the data to an FTP host.
  7. Now, schedule your export. Simply press the calendar button next to the name of your export, and choose what days and times you would like to export your data. Press save.
  8. Choose who you would like to receive the data. Press the mail button next to calendar, and add their email address and name.
  9. Your export is now scheduled and set! Now, simply choose the campaign where you wish to export data. At the top right hand corner of the campaign, choose "Schedule Exports", and check off the Export that you would like to handle the conversion data from the campaign. Tada! You're done.

Another feature of LiveBall is the ability to send email notifications when respondents complete certain actions within a landing experience. For example, let's say you're advertising a white paper on Google. Your conversion rate is about 20%, so you're converting A LOT of people. You can give respondents the option on your form to talk to a salesperson immediately or not. If they choose yes, you have the ability to send an instantaneous email notification to someone on your sales team, and then they can follow up with that lead immediately.

As long as you have data on a respondent, you can set easily set up a rule that will send email notifications based on a plethora of conditions. But more on advanced rules later.

If you're a client and have any specific questions on how to best export your data, contact your account manager. And if you're just browsing our blog and looking for the best way to manage your landing pages, LiveBall makes it easy to convert in the double digits, and then manage that data once you triple your conversions.
