How Do I Log Into My LiveBall Console Under My Subdomain?

Add the extension "/admin" to to your subdomain. You'll be able to use the same log in information as you do for the postclickmarketing.com address.

I Setup a Domain To Point To My LiveBall IP Address. Why Does It Resolve to My Website?

If you go to a LiveBall IP with no /path value or /admin or /Casting.aspx, it redirects to a default URL—typically your website. Once you setup traffic sources in LiveBall, respondents will be sent to the appropriate path(s) you've created in LiveBall.

My Subdomain Only Appears to Work Within My Company's Network. What Could Cause This?

Only internal DNS mapping was used when the subdomain was set up. LiveBall URLs generated with the subdomain would resolve properly for users within your company's network, but this would cause outside users to receive an error page. Contact the person/team who set up the subdomain and ask them to change the DNS mapping.

How Do I Allow Multiple Registrations From One Machine and Browser Session?

LiveBall is explicitly designed not to allow this (to keep respondent data accurate and your stats in line). But there are ways to circumvent these protections and let you use the system in these situations.

  1. Disable all cookies (temporary and permanent) in the web browsers that will be used to access LiveBall in the shared environment.
  2. Customize the browser’s toolbar preferences and remove the ‘back’ button.
  3. Within your LiveBall conversion paths, implement a ‘restart’ link or button to allow users to reset the path to the beginning. This link should be implemented as an external URL in the actions window and you must paste in the LiveBall traffic source full URL (system-generated or friendly, doesn’t make a difference). Do not use any of LiveBall’s automated (easy) linking options in the actions window. If you do, LiveBall will treat the new user as a returning user (that’s bad, in this case.)
