We are thrilled to announce the full release of Multivariate Testing in LiveBall! Get ready to effortlessly optimize your creatives with this powerful new feature. We extend many thanks to the LiveBall users who participated in the beta phase of multivariate testing and are excited to roll this feature out to the entire LiveBall community.
What is MVT? Multivariate testing enables you to create variations of the elements on your page(s), then LiveBall combines these variations for you until a winning combination is achieved. Any element on your page is available to test; like your headlines, images, buttons and forms.
You'll now see a beaker icon on your page thumbnails found on the Creative Management screen. Click here to open up your MVT editor. There is also an MVT button in the page editor bar that spans across the top of each of your templates that will open the MVT editor.
To get started, create test versions of the elements on your page on the variations tab. You'll recognize the content and image editors because they are nearly identical to the WYSIWYG editors right on the template!
The variations you create result in combinations that will be served up to your respondents. You'll be able to preview each combination you create to be sure all of your variations work well together. If you click on the preview, a new tab or window will open so you can scroll through the entire page.
Check out the Experiment Duration Calculator below your combination previews for an estimate on how long your experiment needs to run for you to achieve results. The more traffic and the greater the difference between your variations, the less time it will take to determine a winning combination.
When your experiment is running, view the elements and combinations tabs to analyze the experiment's performance. You can have full control over the experiment by selecting Manual optimization or let LiveBall do the math for you with Automatic optimization.
See how your variations are performing against the original plus each variation's influence over the page on the elements tab. Monitor page performance on the combinations tab to track which combination is trending towards winning. You can disable poor performing combinations and apply the winner to your live creative at any time.
