Once downloaded, clear your cache and open FireBug. Click on the "Net" tab, which you may need to enable. Next, paste the friendly address for the page you'd like to test in your Firefox browser window.

FireBug will display how long each of the elements on the page took to load. The "load event" displays the load time of the entire page. You can view this by mousing over the red line.
