We’re excited to announce a set of powerful enhancements now available in your LiveBall console. Updates have been made that both creative producers and developers can benefit from! Check out the newest LiveBall features:
Global Scripts Library:
This exciting new feature allows LiveBall users to centralize the management of 3rd-party Javascript via a global library! Under your global Libraries button, you’ll find a new Script menu item. You can keep create categories to house your scripts then paste the code right into the global library.
The campaign-wide, creative-wide and page-specific script editors have been updated to include a script drop-down menu to simply select your script from. The text editors that accommodate script will still be available, so any code that’s currently in place will not be affected
Framework Usage:
It’s now easy to identify exactly where frameworks, master page templates and themes are in use. Also, now that LiveBall enables developers to make in-console code edits, a warning is displayed when an element in use is about to be altered.
Under the Libraries menu and the Frameworks menu item, you’ll find a "used in" column that displays where the framework, master or theme is being used. This is similar to the "used in" feature that currently exists for forms, images and fulfillment items.
Traffic Source Thumbnail Generation:
When themes and master pages are revised at the framework level, the preview thumbnails at the traffic source will reflect these edits in real-time. No need to clear your cache!
New Advanced Rule Condition:
"Query String Variable" is now available as a rule condition. If a creative directs a respondent to an external site, then back into LiveBall, this new condition can be used to explicitly write the data returned into LiveBall data fields. LiveBall can trigger actions based on new query string data returned from the external site and appended on the query string.
We hope you find these new enhancements as exciting as we do! Feel free to contact your Account Manager with any questions or if you’d like a personal walk-through of these new features.
