We're very excited here at ion interactive to announce a powerful, new integration with Mongoose Metrics, a leader in enterprise phone conversion tracking. LiveBall can now track a phone call as a conversion or assign a tag to it.
The integration is accomplished via javascript provided by Mongoose Metrics. Here are the steps involved:
When a respondent visits your page, the script will trigger a dynamic phone number that will replace the "base". When a respondent calls this phone number, a conversion (or tag) will be tracked back to LiveBall. The conversion will populate LiveBall performance gauges and reporting.
LiveBall users that track both lead generation and phone conversions should tag their form submissions in addition to tracking them as conversions. Utilizing a tag will help differentiate the two types of conversions tracked in reporting.
UPDATE: To have LiveBall "count" the conversions that happen via Mongoose, it is also necessary to configure a custom notification in Mongoose Metrics to have it notify LiveBall. This callback will look something like this:

Thanks Luke - we connected with ifbyphone and will keep you posted.
Jeff - sounds great! Glad you already have customers using Mongoose.
Excellent! We have several clients who use Mongoose. This will help us more efficiently track these phone conversions right in LiveBall (versus having to post-hoc cross reference reports). Thanks!
Thanks Anna,
We us a company called ifbyphone. http://public.ifbyphone.com/
I know they have developer accounts as well. It might be as easy as applying the strategy you used with Mongoose, to ifbyphone.
Appreciate the help.
Hi Luke, Yes - let us know who you use and we can explore.
Any plans of adding more 3rd party phone providers for phone tracking? I could probably put you in touch with my dev team with the vendor we use. Would love to at least get the conversation rolling.
